Michael is a Grammy-winning saxophonist and composer currently living in New York City. He has co-led the Terraza Big Band since 2015, and recently recorded a quartet album entitled "Event Horizon" for Giant Step Arts that will be released in May 2020. His work as a composer and arranger is in high demand, and he currently teaches jazz saxophone at the Hartt School of Music.
